This section presents tools for evaluating health education materials and program effectiveness.

Program sustainability depends on demonstrating to funders, legislators and community partners that your program makes a measurable difference. As of early 2006, home visitation programs show only moderate results. This may be due primarily to the lack of an instrument that can show parents’ progress toward higher functioning. Now there is the Life Skills Progression – the LSP.

The LSP is a quick, easy-to-use outcome measurement and intervention planning instrument designed specifically for use with low income parents during pregnancy and early parenting. It shows strengths, needs and progress on individual, family, caseload and program levels. Learn more
